Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The location is excellent—situated in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, yet incredibly convenient. It’s only a 15-minute walk to the ByWard Market and about a 30-minute walk to Parliament Hill.
The room was spotlessly clean and fresh, with absolutely no odors. The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuine—he really loves chatting and connecting with guests, which made us feel right at home.
If I ever visit Ottawa again, I will definitely choose to stay here without hesitation!

The home is located in a beautiful neighbourhood with easy walking distance to restaurants, The Parliament Buildings and Art Galleries. We loved having the shared space to make and eat breakfast every morning.

Tolle Lage, ruhige Umgebung, parken problemlos möglich. Sehr schönes Zimmer, tolles Haus, nette Besitzer. Das Bett war super bequem und das Bad wahrscheinlich das beste auf meiner Kanada Reise (wenn auch geteiltes Bad). Zur Innenstadt sind es knapp 30 Minuten zu Fuß oder 5 bis 7 Minuten mit dem Auto / Uber. Sollte ich nach Ottawa zurück kehren, dann buche ich direkt wieder hier.

Alles an meinem Aufenthalt war ehrlich gesagt ausgezeichnet, abgesehen von einem kleinen Punkt: Der Duschkopf in der Badewanne ließ nur extrem kaltes Wasser heraus, und es schien keine Möglichkeit zu geben, die Temperatur auf wärmer zu stellen. Ich habe dann das Gemeinschaftsbad benutzt, was überhaupt nicht schlimm war, da es sauber und angenehm zu benutzen war, aber ja. Abgesehen davon lief alles reibungslos, ich habe mich wirklich gut aufgehoben gefühlt und das Haus war extrem gemütlich und heimelig (und dazu auch noch wunderschön)!

Super schönes Haus, einfaches Parken in der Umgebung, Café und Bäckerei in der Nähe, kostenlose Snacks und Kaffee vor Ort. Das Bett war wirklich bequem und alles war sehr gepflegt. Ich komme definitiv wieder.
Der schlüssellose Zugang wurde sehr geschätzt und war einfach zu bedienen.
Das historische Flair des Hauses hat dem gesamten Erlebnis wirklich eine besondere Note verliehen!

Vielen herzlichen Dank, Mia! Ich fand es großartig, wie unkompliziert die Kommunikation mit dir bei Fragen war. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, groß und sehr sauber, auch das private Badezimmer war toll. Du hast den Check-in und Check-out sehr einfach gemacht und ich habe meinen Aufenthalt wirklich genossen. Alles, was ich für meinen Aufenthalt brauchte, war vorhanden – ich liebe die Küche und all die verfügbaren Annehmlichkeiten. Das Haus ist wirklich wunderschön.
Ich werde deine Unterkunft auf jeden Fall unseren Diplomaten und ägyptischen Delegationen sehr empfehlen.

It was cozy. After a busy day walking in the cold winds of Ottawa, I looked forward to returning to the Ambassador every night. It is close to Sandy Hill and allowed me to walk to see my University student daughters instead of having to hire a car. Beautifully decorated, not one speck of dust anywhere. Their cleaning program is STELLAR. The owner leaves out quality snack and breakfast foods out to enjoy in the evening and the morning. Fresh coffee is percolated every morning at 8 am. Hot drinks are still available 24/7 though. I had a couple of special requests and the owner kindly accommodated me. I will absolutely make this my home away from home every time I come to visit my girls in Ottawa. Oh and I slept so well! The beds are so comfortable! Nothing. I love this place.

This b&b is amazing! Super clean, cozy, quiet, good breakfast, safe neighbourhood, private parking space and close to great restaurants and shops. And only half an hour scenic walk to the parliament buildings. Or take a bus which stops in front of the b&b. We haven’t seen the the staff but they provided detailed check-in information. And asked us if we were happy during our stay. And yes we were!! Everything was good.
